Hello East Point,

We arrived back on Saturday and by Saturday night we were missing Mellieha. The first day back at work is the hardest It has got so bad that I have booked flights back for November, December-January, February,March, April-May and June. These breaks are between 4 to 10 days.
I guess I've got it bad!

Glynis - will do that. m&n - did you stay at the Mellehia Bay Hotel? That is where we stayed. Gosh, you really have got it bad haven't you?

Blimey m&n you've sure got it bad. Mind you I understand how you feel! Why don't you go and live there for the next few months - surely it'd be cheaper?

I'd love to move over there for a few months but I have a job here. We have bought an apartment on Mellieha Heights and it is getting harder and harder to face returning to the UK every time we go over there. All of the flights that we have bought are for long week-ends and/or weeks that include bank holidays I'm also fortunate because of where I work I can accrue up to two 'flexi' days leave a month and of course I take full advantage of this

m & n when you get to my age you get to look forward to flexi nights too, hope none of your flights are with british jet, there was a plane crash in Malta last weekend, just a light aircraft that ended upside down in a field on an emergency landing after an engine failure, Good piloting but Jonah springs to mind.

I reckon when we retire (if we live to make it) we'll try our best to spend as much of the winter in Malta as we can. It's got to work out cheaper than paying for the winter fuel bill!
