Am off to Corfu @ 7am from Bristol on the 1st October for 2 glorious weeks away from hum drum life here

Going to start getting a few things washed and ready this weekend, like all the summer stuff out of the wardrobes where they have been since last year thanks to the lack of the british summer Any fine weather we have had has been when I've been stuck in work

I love going away in October, it means when our summer is just about to finish, ours is still to come

I'm also off in 18 days to Kos it will be our second visit this year as we went in May with a group of friends, this time it's just me and the hubby.
Iv'e been a bit spoilt this year as he surprised me with a week in Eygpt in Febuary and we also had a fornight in july in Cyprus to celebrate a nephews wedding. I haven't even bothered putting the cases back in the loft this year.

This travelling bug is very catching

We decided that one holiday a year is not enough and so are booked for Malta in April next year

I would need to win the lottery to be able to afford any more than that

we also were in kos in may [first week] at Kardamina.. OH likes kos so may go back next year... haven't booked anything yet, still have a week in December to take, we don't book more than 3 months in advance

We normally only have two holidays a year one in May and another in October. This year was the exception as my holidays were booked when we had the invitation for the wedding and we thought why not. Plus our kids are now grown up and so we don't have to pay for them.
We have already booked holidays for next year and we are going to Santorini in May to celebrate our silver wedding and in September we are off to Crete on a cheapy courtesy of Tesco club card.
