Please note that, since the introduction of new Cyprus-wide bus services in July, there are now bus services through Kapparis. See routes 301, 401 and 711 here - http://www.oseabuses.com/dromologia.htm - though you'll have to use Google translate or similar as it's in Greek. The actual timetables are bilingual.

But also note a newsflash on the homepage that says the 711 will not go to/from the airport but start/stop at Larnaca prom.

We are there for a fortnight and we are going with my parents again! We need to have someone to help us with 2 kids! Just got to try and lose this baby weight now as not long to go!! My mam and dad have just got back from staying in Amore appartments which is probably near to where you will be staying as they said it was straight over the big roundabout where you turn left to go to Orphanides. They said it was lovely for them but probably too far out and quiet for us!! Not that we get a chance to go pubbing and clubbing anymore!

So you will still be there when we come out then. I know the area we are staying in and I think it will be quiet but I we will probably spend a lot of time in Pernera. Some friends have just booked to go out on the same flight as us and are staying in Protaras so no doubt we'll be out there too and we have to have at least one night in Ayia Napa
