Hi everyone

We are thinking about booking the White Rocks Hotel at Lassi Kefalonia in the future.

However, there are a couple of issues we are particularly uneasy about and wonder if anyone out there can help us.

1) On half board basis, we see that the evening meal is not buffet style.
Is it permissable to swap an evening meal with a lunch time buffet meal?

and

2) We see that the hotel is located very close to the airport fly path.
a) Is aircraft noise a problem?
b) How close to the hotel do the aircraft fly?
c) If they do come close, is there any smell of aviation fuel/exhaust at all?

Our concerns are probably unfounded as we have not found any adverse comments in any of the reviews or discussion forums, but better we know now than when it is too late.
