Just doing some thinking about next year and considering flying into Mumbai, having a few days there, and then taking the Konkan Railway down to Goa.

Has anybody done that and got advice? What's the train like? Are there different class coaches as on other trains? Do you book it from the UK? Any good hotel recommendations?
