I`ve just come back from Gumbet and we picked up at the La Luna last night,and to be honest its a bit out of the way.It looked a nice hotel though,i`m trying to think how to tell you where it is..........do you know where the bag evleri is and the cafe colombia?its at the end of that street going out of town turn right and over a hill...sorry if this isn`t too helpful.......not sure if theres a short cut to the beach but if not its about a 10 minute walk.

I believe the La Luna is next to the Apartium, which is a small hotel I visited a couple of years ago. If thats where it is, then yes, you're in the right direction thinking its near the Jasmin Beach. Its along that road going from the resort centre out to the Jasmin Beach (and the Tropicana, the Tropicana is the last hotel at the end of the bay, next to the Jasmin Beach). But its not so far out of town as the Jasmin Beach. You will be able to take the beach path into town (Baba Hotel, Parkim Palais beach etc) in about 5 minutes. It is longer if you go by the road.

Thanks for the info, sounds as if it's very much where we expected. We stayed at the Jasmin about 6 years ago, and used to walk into centre via the beach, which met up with the path, or catch the dolmus outside, only took a few minutes but saved the walk!

Most reviews etc state it is 5-10 mins to town centre, and I've been told they've extended the beach path since we were last in Gumbet, so expect we'll take that route to town.
