Am booked for a week at the end of January, in the above hotel. However, I can't seem to find any information regarding it. Must be the only hotel on the island that isn't listed!
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Further to that, what kind of weather can I expect at the end of January/early February?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi Anna, just seen your post, I realise it's been a while since you went away but I'm due to go and stay at la piramide in 4weeks, just wondered if you could let me know what it was like, apartments, area people etc.
My friend and I have booked up to stay at the La Piramide apartments, in Costa Antigua, for a week, all inclusive break at the end of April. We were searching on various websites about peoples views etc, and obviously came across the previous post about the resort & hotel - We are now really terrified!
Can someone please help us out, and tell us if this hotel/resort has had any improvements since last summer. Whilst reading posts we gather that the resort is pretty quiet, and to be frankly honest, we are just after a quiet relaxing week's break in the sun (nothing to heavy) but we are just a bit worried about the muggings that have taken place, is it really this bad???
We are really confused, and if the hotel/resort is awful, we are going to consider changing hotel etc?
Please help, any replies would be very helpful!!!
Laura & Chantelle......
Haven't been to Nuevo Horizonte for about 12 months now so it may well have improved but to be honest from what I know about Fuerteventura things don't tend to happen that quickly I wouldn't recommend NH. I would recommend you visit http://www.fuerteventura.com and have a look through the forum or ask the question there and see the replies you get. This particular thread is worth a look http://www.fuerteventura-forum.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=535&SearchTerms=la,piramide
I would highhly recommend Corallejo. Caleta de fuste is my 2nd choice but it's a little too English for my liking and don't know enough about the rest of the places on the island to comment, but I would avoid NH or as it's now called Costa Antigua.
Fuerteventura is a lovely place though and is unique. None of the resorts are overly noisy so wherever you go you shouild have a nice quiet holiday.
thinking of La'piramide 2ppl/1wk sc £99 AI £219
(were easily pleased )
Anyone know if it would be cheaper to upgrade on arrival ?
Better still, any of you good folk got the email addy of said apartments ?
