I'm off to Lagos at the weekend can anyone tell me how all the works are coming along.
Have they finished? I somehow can't imagine so. When I was there in September all the talk was about the water-proofing the underground car park. Why that was a problem I can't imagine!
We were there in April and, whilst it looked as if all the major construction was complete, there were still lots of workmen on site and water was still being pumped into the river Bensafrim across the road from the site.
This was covered in last weeks resident..."Two new covered car parks will start operating in Lagos city along the waterfront and Anel Verde, Praça d'Armas, areas from July 1"
Have just come back from Ponta da Piedade and along the Avenida and new signs have just gone up saying the road will be closed 14th to 18th June. All looks promising for 1st July finish!
