Lassi or Scala

I haven't stayed in Lassi but I do know that its busier than Scala. We are a couple in our early 40's and found Scala a little bit too quiet, although very beautiful.

I would actually say the opposite since Scala has far more bars and people in general. The good thing about Lassi in contrast to Scala is that it is very close to the capital Argostoli (lots of night life!!!) and has better beaches (Makris & Platis Gialos).

Have not been to Lassi, but liked Skala, lots of lovely tavernas and bars, compact resort. Believe Lassi is more spread out and hilly.

The beaches in Lassi are much nicer

We were lead to believe that Lassi was more touristy than Scala. I didn't think there were many bars in Scala so best avoide Lassi if its even quieter.

Scala has at least the double number of people in contrast to Lassi.......By far the No1 (in arrivals) destination on the island

Haven't been to Lassi for a while but its close proximity to Argostoli is bonus (IMHO). Went to Scala a couple of years ago and thought it very 'British' but on the plus side, next resort (Poros if I remember) was very nice. Spent some nice afternoons/early evenings around the harbour.

Svoronata is very close to the airport which is not really a problem as there are not that many flights. We stayed just up the hill from there ( Lakithra) and enjoyed watching the planes from our balcony!
Lassi or Skala, that's a hard choice. We didn't stay in either but visited both. They both looked nice resorts, but personally I would opt for Lassi as a more central base if you want to do a lot of exploriing, plus there is the bonus of being close to Argostoli, which we both loved to visit of an evening. Highlights for us were the trip to Ithaca from Sami, and visiting Myrtos beach and Assos.
Hope you have a good holiday, whichever resort you decide on. I would love to go again, trying to see whether there are any bargains for June this year.

Ive been to both, and the beaches in Lassi are better plus the closeness of Argostoli is good.
