We are going to Scala this summer. We are looking for a travel guide and map can anyone suggest a good one?

Depends which island you mean. Assuming it's Nea Skala on Kefalonia the 'ROAD' edition 304 is OK for a map of Kefalonia/Ithaka. A realistic guide is here, but not for those of a nervous disposition.
