please please can anyone tell me if i can take my ghd straighteners and hair dryer on holiday to algarve as i have been told that the volts are different please help as i fly out early hours xxxx

Hello missyladyt, my wife takes her hair dryer and straiteners to most places abroad and they work fine, in Portugal the voltage is 220 volts this is not enough to make them not work. It is only when you go to place like the U S A were they have 110 volts that there is a problem.
