If it is anything like the carnival line, you should be able to book a tour on the last day, and they will take you and your luggage from the ship to airport.
my advice is to do this....as we didnt on our last day.....and our pre-arranged transfer got us to Orlando aiport for 11 am......and we didnt fly til 7pm......it was a very long day............

Or you could stay at a hotel in Fort Lauderdale for a day or two.

I seem to remember when we did Princess charter as part of the deal they took us to bayside then onto a hotel for late lunch and a couple of hours hanging before heading on for the flight.

Would do something else next time, they should have some better tour options.

There's always another flight.

Florida's great for a day or two.

I am assuming that you have booked this as part of a package with Princess arranging and providing the flights.
If that is the case look on your invoice, after docking time in Fort Lauderdale it should say Hospitality if so they will provide you with facilities either aboard ship or in a hotel until you leave for your flight.
If you have booked this as a package and it doesnt say this, get on to your agent and get them to look into it, Princess should provide it at no charge.

If however you have booked the flight separate from the cruise and are under your own steam, you are on your own I am afraid. Once the ship docks and you have disembarked thats the end of Princess' responsibility to you.

We booked with Virgin and no transfers were incuded. I have telephoned Princess in Southampton and as all their flights are out of Miami they assured me that something would be available for us.

Look on your list of Shore Excursions, there should be one you can do at the end of the cruise- Everglades Tour,Tropical garden , Tour of Ft Lauderdale etc, that will take up a few hours. They will drop you at MIA or FLL airports, depending on where your flight leaves from.
