Hi,we are looking for a good flight deal for about the 27th of december for a month,due to work problems its the first time we have booked so late in the year.

Hace a look on http://www.skyscanner.net/ but you might be better flying to Mumbai then to Goa with someone like Jet or Spice.

December is the most expensive time of the season but you may find a good deal good luck :tup

Again, not for Dec 27th, but Olympic have Gatwick (Monarch) flights leaving Dec 10th, for a base price of £254 return. Trouble is, you're flying back on Christmas Day. Very cheap for Dec.
