Hi all,
Just wondering what your preferances are to booking cheap holidays, and which are cheaper.
Just two of us are looking for our first holiday hopefully around next early July, and want to know is it usually cheaper to book a DIY holiday now or a Late Deal within 6 weeks or so before going. Just want your personal opinion on the matter.
At the minute found the cheapest to OluDeniz in turkey is about £300pp for 11 nights with flights from manchester to dalaman and transfers when we get there and on way back.
Would it be cheaper to wait for the late deal or not?
After trawing the web and getting several prices for diy holidays, with transfers still to be paid for on top of the price.
Found Directholidays.co.uk were giving me the same holiday, same flights, same dates to same hotel in Tunisia for £40 cheaper!
This included our transfers and meals on airplane!
You can book up to 31st October for £1 per person (Yes you did read that right!!!) click on summer 2008 , then low deposit section
hope this helps
fiona
Just had a look through these works out at about £80 more expensive than DIY
hi matt
manchester, but don't mind trying east midlands or birmingham either
You are travelling in July which is peak time. I think there are only two of you travelling. DIY would work out dearer for July.
Book now and enjoy your holiday.
Just come back from a DIY to turkey and paid £150 each to include flights, hotel and transfers. The key to it is getting a cheap flight. BA airways sent me an email in August with 45% off, so managed to get the flights for £87 each. Great flight, delayed a bit going out due to fog, but arrived back on time. Food and drinks included in flight price.
