Hi Prindy, think i got the date wrong by a couple of days. The deal is on sales@the-cruise-specialists.co.uk If you simply go into http://www.the-cruise-specialists.co.uk would imagine there is a phone number etc. Also saw it later with http://www.gillscruise.com who are saying "price too low to publish" and book quickly (0845 460 6076). If it was me, would not care how to get to Dover would just start driving! The Baltics are fantastic, we were there last year 1st fortnight July. Hope you get this one, and enjoy, let us know.
I got it on email and also the Jade round the UK was on offer at £560?? inside and the same for outside and balcony as Jewel. I have had so many offers these days that I find it hard to post them all.

Update Millennium NZ/OZ
have decided to upgrade to the 2A balcony and it is £201 extra. I have been able to keep my £100 early booking discount as well as the lower fuel supplement I had at the time of my booking.
2A is an upgrade of 7 grades. Grade 9 highest of insides but then there are the ocean views as well as 2C and 2B balcony. If I didn't have the over 55's it would be £900+ so a really good bargain. I got a price drop on my booking of more than it is costing me to upgrade so a great deal.
For the scenic value on this cruise I think it will be great sitting out on the balcony for breakfast etc and sailing in the NZ Sounds also.

The NCL Jewel 12 nights to the Baltic on 16 July is also on teletext P227 at £569 for inside.
NCL and probably other must be struggling.

The offer of £1050 was a SINGLE offer and for a BALCONY! Yes I think they are struggling and not the only company. I think we will see some really low prices during the late summer and Autumn ie Sept/Oct. RCI and others are staying in Eurupe for the winter also and Brilliance etc is doing the Canaries etc and the Eastern Med.

Will do and I am sure that there will be something! I will be away for 12 days Aug/Sept. and then Mid Nov/Mid Jan but I would expect offers will be coming in around October. I booked the QM2 last year late October or beginning November last year. Offers may start in September although some of the ships are staying in Europe over the winter for the first time.
Brilliance doing the Med and the Canaries NCL Jade staying also but a lot will be in the Caribbean and they are all chasing the same bottoms on beds.

Some of the "trade only" deals are available for "friends and family". If you have a relative or friend in the travel industry, including cruise and airline staff, and they are willing to book these deals for you, the company is called Travel Industry Services and is online.

Thanks Bob. Have signed up to the internet site, which was very easy. Obviously the catch is that when you book a cruise they will require confirmation of employment status etc!! As Bob says, the blurb does say deals are available to friends and family of travel industry employees. Time to get your dinner party organised and invite such folks, if you know any....sadly we don't!
The Norwegian Jewel one for wednesday is £199.40 + £35 booking fee + fuel surcharge, which is about £4-£5 per day, so total is looking like about £300 for a 12 nighter, high season, in Baltic.

We would have done either NCL cruise but have commitments this week. Both the Jade and Jewel had balconies available last week for the same money £199 + about £100, now it's only inside and outsides - shame

Spent some more time in the site. The next Jewel cruise, following 16 July, is on 28 July and the price is even less £169 + additions mentioned previously giving a total of £270ish...incredible! Must seriously get my thinking cap on, or see if there are any part-time evening jobs in local TA's etc.
Would that date suit you Bob? The price is for inside only, with outside about £50 more (from memory), and even a balcony would be £1600 which seems incredibly expensive.

The total price for an inside is just over £400 pp. The taxes had to be added on, they were included in the other deal.
Still a great price but I am holding on, it might get cheaper , doubt it !
