Relax Sue, am already committed to a minibreak next week!! For a number of years I have taken my son to The Open, which is at Royal Birkdale this year. We are staying at a Premier Travel Inn at Wigan.
Sorry Luci for going off topic!
Another good deal how do you find them I have been looking never seen that offer
where will I find it I had been looking at Jewel but I thought the sailing date was 16th July and wonder will they do a transfer from Gatwick not sure how to get to Dover
http://www.the-cruise-specialists.co.uk would imagine there is a phone number etc. Also saw it later with http://www.gillscruise.com who are saying "price too low to publish" and book quickly (0845 460 6076). If it was me, would not care how to get to Dover would just start driving! The Baltics are fantastic, we were there last year 1st fortnight July. Hope you get this one, and enjoy, let us know.
Hi Prindy, think i got the date wrong by a couple of days. The deal is on sales@the-cruise-specialists.co.uk If you simply go into Also some good single offers but I am not even thinking about anything else meantime. Graham you were always concerned when I booked November that what would I do between March and then.
Well your were right but didn't see me waiting as long as the 27th August.
I have asked SCC (Ali is on Azamara) to look at my Millennium booking. There is now a 55's offer on the 2A balcony so I want them to price it for me. Looks like possibly something over £200 so might be interested. Will see.
Sue
have decided to upgrade to the 2A balcony and it is £201 extra. I have been able to keep my £100 early booking discount as well as the lower fuel supplement I had at the time of my booking.
2A is an upgrade of 7 grades. Grade 9 highest of insides but then there are the ocean views as well as 2C and 2B balcony. If I didn't have the over 55's it would be £900+ so a really good bargain. I got a price drop on my booking of more than it is costing me to upgrade so a great deal.
For the scenic value on this cruise I think it will be great sitting out on the balcony for breakfast etc and sailing in the NZ Sounds also.
Karen at SCC says I am great I just keep my nose to the ground!!..
Sue
SINGLE OFFER for the weekend BALTIC NCL BALCONY ROOM £1050 I think the offer is not out until tomorrow so anyone who wants a single offer there it is. I think this will be on Jewel.
Sue
The NCL Jewel 12 nights to the Baltic on 16 July is also on teletext P227 at £569 for inside.
I have a friend in the travel industry and their "trade only" travel agent is selling these cruises (staff only) for £199 !!
Bob
Hmm this is when I wish I was staff
yes me to........
Saw the cruise on teletext this morning for £549....a long way from £199 mind you!
The offer of £1050 was a SINGLE offer and for a BALCONY! Yes I think they are struggling and not the only company. I think we will see some really low prices during the late summer and Autumn ie Sept/Oct. RCI and others are staying in Eurupe for the winter also and Brilliance etc is doing the Canaries etc and the Eastern Med.
TIA
Brilliance doing the Med and the Canaries NCL Jade staying also but a lot will be in the Caribbean and they are all chasing the same bottoms on beds.
Sue
Some of the "trade only" deals are available for "friends and family". If you have a relative or friend in the travel industry, including cruise and airline staff, and they are willing to book these deals for you, the company is called Travel Industry Services and is online.
The Norwegian Jewel one for wednesday is £199.40 + £35 booking fee + fuel surcharge, which is about £4-£5 per day, so total is looking like about £300 for a 12 nighter, high season, in Baltic.
Sorry like you I don't have any friends in the industry!!
IF ONLY would never be at home at those prices>
Sue
We would have done either NCL cruise but have commitments this week. Both the Jade and Jewel had balconies available last week for the same money £199 + about £100, now it's only inside and outsides - shame My friend works for BA so I am keeping an eye on the deals
Bob
Would that date suit you Bob? The price is for inside only, with outside about £50 more (from memory), and even a balcony would be £1600 which seems incredibly expensive.
Still a great price but I am holding on, it might get cheaper , doubt it !
Hoping for a deal in September for my wife's birthday.
Bob
