If you're in the car park for less than 10 mins then you just need to put your ticket in the exit barrier and it'll let you out.

Thanks LBA73 that's solved that worry. I had visions of us trying to unload and clock in the ticket

Many thanks

I am flying from Leeds Bradford in January and due to the fact I am only going away for 4 days I have not booked in any luggage as just going to take a small suitcase as hand luggage (well hopefully lol) anyways as my space is limited I was hoping that instead of taking shampoo/toothpaste etc in my suitace I would buy when I went through security, now am I right in saying the Superdrug is before Security? If so can I still buy from there and take through with me etc? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

                Carter,
Anything purchased landside in terms of liquids and gels won't be permitted through security in hand luggage unless it's less than 100ml in volume and in the correct sized clear plstic bag for scrutiny at security. Superdrug is located in hall A, close to check-in (landside).

Carter, as Darren says you can buy liquids, pastes, creams, gels etc up to 100ml. We were there earlier this month and once we had made our purchase the shop assistant actually asked us if we had the clear plastic bag (which we didnt) and she gave us one each.
Am i right in thinking (or wrong as i normally am ) but can you purchase various things the volume of which is less than 100mls as long as they fit into the plastic bag.

It would be interesting to know as we are going again next month and we actually only purchased some antiseptic gel this time.

As long as they are no more than 100ml in volume, and they fit inside the clear plastic bag up to the maximum bag size limit, you can take as many items as you want really. All the details are on the HAND LUGGAGE REGULATIONS & INCREASED SECURITY .. Q&As topic.

I am flying from LBA on Saturday 28th May with Ryanair to Faro.
Can anyone tell me what gate this flight goes from and also whether it is worth purchasing priority boarding.
Many thanks in advance.

5 or 6/7 is the usual suspects. I've seen both Jet2 who have FAO flight same time, go from Gate 3 or 4 (both if running late), and FR to FAO from gate 5.
I can't comment on the priority boarding. I've seen service air people on occasions stand at the door of gate 5 only letting PB'S through and to the gate, then boarding commence and let all other pax. FR tend to call all PAX before the a/c has even arrived at gate which is stupid & pathetic. But i hate FR. Personally i'd try LS, you'd probably get a much more customer focused attitude plus a ride on a 757.

I'm glad I wasn't on this flight yesterday, it's been gale force winds for the last few days in my neck of the woods, and Leeds/Bradford can get a bit blowy at the best of times

Well done the pilot.

TUI doubles capacity at Leeds Bradford
Thomson and First Choice will double capacity at Leeds Bradford Airport in 2013.
They are introducing new routes to Menorca, Ibiza, Rhodes, Tenerife and will add another weekly flight for existing Mallorca and Turkey routes.
This follows the launch earlier this year of exclusive routes from Leeds Bradford to Sharm El Sheikh and Tunisia.
