Hi, no thats ok, I am aware of the filtering/cencorsing thingy, sorry i just forgot all about that when i read the post....
have just got back today from these apartements thought they were ok was half board and food was good there is no aircon that is the only bad thing about this place cause it was hot we bought a fan from one of the chinese shops for 10euros and it did the job
Is there a kettle in the apartments?
I've heard mention of a deposit to pay on arrival - how much is it?
Which is the best block to stay in? We are in a 2 bed apartment, and was going to try to email the reception with a request for the best block.
Thanks
Karen
Hi Karen, We stayed in a 2 bed apartment at the Levante Club last month. Deposit was 60 euros or 40 pounds and they had a kettle.
HI karen yes ther is a kettle and a toaster as of wich block to stay in they are pretty much all the same and close together so would not woory and as you said buy your fan in the resort there is loads of shops that sell them also found the beds were realy comfy
Hubby was about to go out and buy a travel kettle - he cant go out without a cuppa in the morning
I can't wait now - 11 sleeps!
Got back today - and overall, I was impressed. Apartment was spacious (we had a 2 bed in the Miro block). Balcony was massive. Kitchen well equiped and big bathroom. Pools were nice - and clean. Only gripe I had was the service at the pool bar. One member of staff all day, and if he was cooking snacks, you had to wait for him to finish before you could order a drink. We ate out for all meals, so can't comment on the food (although it smelt nice). Location was excellent - 2 minute walk to the beach and far enough from the square to get a good nights sleep. Although there was no air conditioning, there were that many windows in our apartment (and as we were on 13th floor, a nice breeze), we didnt put our fan on once!
I have read very mixed reviews about the Levante club apartments and was wondering if anyone had stayed there recently.
I would like to send an email before they go but don't quite know what to request. I have heard that some apartments are better than others.
Any recent info at all gratefully received.
Thanks in advance.
Sue
STAYED there las t august found them ok we were h/b food was good pool a little on the small side and there is no air con . the room was clean and tidy with the normal things for s/c pepole we were in the main building on first floor no out look but very handy for the resturant .great for the beach and far enough away so that you get a good nights sleep if not too hot if you want to know enything else just ask
Also are there 3 different blocks and are some nicer than others.
Any info gratefully received.
Many Thanks
Sue

Going to levante club apartments next week, does anyone know what like they are, are you supplied with the usual i.e. kettle, toaster, microwave etc
Hi shetlandlass ... I have merged your enquiry with this existing 3 page topic about the complex, which may provide you with the info you need.
thanks for that.
Hi Shetland Lass, the Drop Inn on Calle Londre is only a 5 minute walk away and they do a really nice breakfast that's cheap too. The staff are friendly and efficient and they have free newspapers on loan whilst you're there. A small breakfast costs barely more than the sun does to buy. so you're only really paying for the cup of tea. Oh I love a bargain.
Just back from Levante Club Apartments on Sunday morning. What can I say, but excellent, accommodation was basic, but you only need a bed for the night, staff were friendly specially Jorge on reception at night. One of the balcony doors didnt work, but no problem, maintenance man was sent straight up to fix this. I would definately go back there, the area was excellent you were so near the beach (less than 5 mins walk) and the night life (5/10 mins walk). No noise at night apart from the passing traffic but thats to be expected.
Cheers
I have merged your post with an existing topic on these apartments which may have some useful information.
luci
