Libyan Airlines

Has anyone any experience of Libyan Airlines???
I am flying with them from Manchester to Tripoli end of September but don't know an awful lot about them.
Also having difficulty accessing their website ln.aero (just stays on the first page).
I believe we will be flying on a CRJ900...has anyone any experience of flying on this aircraft type? I have seen some
pics and they look a little small to be on a flight of this length...

The CRJ900 is a nice little aircraft and offers similar seat pitch to larger aircraft. Seating is configured 2-2 as it's quite a narrow fuselage. I've never travelled with Libyan Airlines but they're normally quite punctual on their Manchester services.

Last time I flew with them (over 30 years ago) they didn't serve alcohol on their planes.

That's what i thought. i thought they were only used on domestic flights.
i believe that it is a non stop flight as well. Concerned we might end up having our luggage...or even ourselves
left behind!
Does anybody know if this is the furthest this aircraft can fly, or can it go even further?

The Range On A CRJ900 Is 3,408 km and It Is 2,608 km From Manchester To Tripoli. They Use The Extended Range

They woiuldn't be using the CRJ900 if it wasn't possible! MAN-TIP is 1620 miles. Libyan use the extended range (ER) version of the CRJ900 with a typical range of 2,004 miles.

i know generally the aircraft can fly that route, but my concern was maybe bad weather such as head winds.
sometimes when this happens i believe sometimes luggage or people get left behind (not specifically on this route).
i was thinking if this type of plane has loads of range then this may reduce the chance or us or our bags being off loaded.
not sure if that makes sense???

I wasn't commenting on the range. More the fact that it is a small aircraft on a route of a few hours.

I flew last year on a Continental Airlines one on a flight lasting 3 hours. I felt it was far to long for passenger comfort. I felt very crampt and closed in.
