Hi all,

My parents are holidaying in palma nova in June and would like to visit Alcudia for a day or two. As they dont drive, hiring a car is obviously out of the question. They are very well travelled and have used local transport wherever they've visited. Would it be possible for them to get a local bus direct to Alcudia from Palma Nova, or would they have to change buses at somewhere like Palma? They do realise it is quite a distance to Alcudia as they have visited Majorca many times, but as Alcudia is the only part they have never visited, they would like a couple of days here with a view to holidaying in the future. As they would like to spend a few hours on Alcudias fantastic beach they are not bothered about having to leave at the crack of dawn or getting back late.Is there a certain point where the buses drop off e.g. the port or bellevue area, or do they travel throughout the resort? Also, does anybody know of any online timetables that may be of assistance?
