Could anyone give me any info on the local buses from peurto rico to the surrounding resorts and places of interest as we like finding places using our own steam.The last time we were in PR there seemed to be plenty of buses but very little imformation on where they went or even timetables. unless we did not look properly.

http://www.globalsu.net/es/lineas.php for all the buses on the island. From PR they go from Amadores beach, main road by the Haiti (under the pedestrian bridge), the central park which is the main bus station by the water fountain roundabout, they have bus information office there too, then by Puerto Calma. The buses can get you to most places along the south coast and eastern coast. Most inland buses go from Las Palmas main terminal.
