We and 10 Friends are staying in a villa in this area in March,
Has anyone styed near here? how far away is it from Purto del Carmen?

So close to all the bars and restaurants?
Not knowing what villa you are going to it's difficult to say, as Los Mojones seems to be spreading 
But its a downhill walk to the bars and restaurants of about 10 minutes, and a haul back up the hill, but taxis are cheap and plentiful!!!!!

Great for the old town / harbour etc 5-10 walk down hill and just a few Euro's in a Taxi home as hill quite steep. Bit further to the beach road 20 /25 min walk to Fariones Hotel which is the start of everything.
Local bus also goes that way - few nights we took the bus along to the front - ate - bar crawled back to the old town, few more drinks then taxi home. We have been going for 20 years and up until this year had never stayed in that area - wont be staying anywhere else now - much better choice of nice villas.
