Guys, I've called LCH 12 times, at 20 minutes a go over the past MONTH with no joy. No one answers the phone.

I'm going to write to the as well. Does anyone have a contact name, someone quite high up?

I sent a recorded delivery letter but never addressed it with a name only complaints department and recieved a phone call from a Clare Edwards who sorted everything out. Recorded delivery is the best option, dont worry, I am sure things will work out.

Hi MaryPrince,

We are sad to see that you have had such a bad experience trying to contact us.

lowcostholiday.com's main priority is to meet the needs of our customers, we are sorry we were unable to answer your calls. This is due to Kiss Flights going under, meaning our call centre has received a large number of calls. If you forward me your reference number to info@lowcostholidays.com I will do my best to resolve the issue.

Sorry for any inconvenience or upset you have been caused.

Taken £954 for 3 passengers and lowcostholidays booked a twin room! After 39 minutes on phone have been told there is nothing they can do. They say they do not have any triple rooms and can only send an email to the hotel to try and see if there is anythign the hotel can do - anyone else had problems? Will update on Friday - watch this space.

Do you have any written confirmation from Lowcost Holidays saying that a triple room has been booked, or a screenshot of your booking?

A lot of "twin" rooms are sold as "twin 3", and are in effect twin rooms with an extra bed, NOT a triple room. We have had this a number of times, and it usually worlks out OK - is that what you have? Check the room code on your documentation, or check direct with the hotel

No I have checked with lowcostholidays and it is a twin only. My son flies tomorrow - all inclusive for 10 days - very uncomfortable floor for one if no-one sorts this out!

Have you checked with the hotel what lowcost has sent through to them and what they have allocated?

I would contact the hotel direct rather than leaving it up to lowcost. They would be able to confirm whether it is as doonhammer suggests or if it is a twin room with only 2 beds. If it is definitely only a twin, you really do need to try and get this sorted before they go because the hotel might refuse to allow three people to occupy a twin room - however hard or comfy the floor is - and insist that they pay for an extra room. Or even worse, don't have a spare room available anyway and insist that one of them goes elsewhere to stay.

This is especially important as they are going AI - you need to check that the hotel is definitely expecting 3 people on this booking because they won't take kindly to what might look to them as a 3rd unpaid for guest trying to sneak in on the back of this booking.
