I've been to 6 now and apart from one (which after experience was too cheap) haven't had a bad experience.
I would never put up with food which was luke warm as this can be the cause of food poisoning when food isn't kept at the correct temperature as the bacteria begins to breed.
We have NEVER had any upset tummies whilst staying in All-Inclusives.
When choosing our all-inclusive holidays we always try to stay somewhere which doesn't have anymore than 300 beds, it makes the experience so much nicer. Our favourite so far only having 140 (ish) beds.
Why not try Cyprus, the accomodation is far in front of any spanish place I have been to.
Alcudia, Delfin Verde marina, majorca, 2002- cost £1800- 2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant
Calasan Vincent, Don Pedro, majorca 2003- £1900- 2 adults, 2 kids
Holiday Village Costa Del Sol 2004- cost £2600 2 adults 2 kids
Lerepetra, Hotel Petra Mare, Crete 2005- £2400 2 adults, 2 kids
Of all of them I would have to vote for the Petra Mare as the best, great for kids, right on beach, own waterslides etc..
lots of reviews on this site
hope that helps.
p.s all these hols were taken during school hols
thanks for the info mo
We've only been to 2 and both were long haul - Rui Tequilla in Mexico and Laguna Mar in Margarita and I have to say the food in both was great.
One thing to take into account, especially in Greece it's common for food to be served lukewarm as that's how the locals have it. Although to be honest I would expect international hotels to be different.
i personally will not do AI over in europe as i prefer to try other places and i fund out even AI in Tobago , Antigua and teh Virgin islands , to eat out 2 times a week was cheap anyway , but here i loike to eat out different most nights and being in the industry have heard about the food prob with some places
