Thanks all for your great suggestions! Especially Phoebe - my best friends were married in Dalhousie castle a few years ago so that brought back many memories!! :)
We have finally booked up to go up to a cosy log cabin in Drumnadrochit (Near Loch Ness i believe) on 28th November for 3 nights - not exactly luxury, but very romantic :) Im sure it will be lovely!

Thanks again!!

Nice to bring back good memories :)
Glad you're sorted, GG, and hope you have a fab romantic 3 nights!

Looks a lovely area, and you can go on a Nessie-spotting cruise ;)

Yes we are very much looking forward to our trip - we plan to leave this friday afternoon! And i am convinced we will be the first people to see Nessie in the flesh ;)

I didnt know Callendar was near Drumnadrochit? Im terrible with geography but that sounds great - im going to look it up right now!

We've heard Inverness isnt too far away - if so, i think they are doing a big thing for St Andrews day on Sunday - anyone know if its worth going to?

Woohoo roll on friday!

Yep sorted! Haha!

Do you know what? I dont even care if it is minus 40 when we are there - i am planning on having the phones switched off and listening to the peace and quiet!

Even if we dont make it to Inverness for St Andrews day - do you think the local pub in Drumnadrochit will have something on? Or does stuff like that only happen in cheesy tv programmes? ;)
Off to Asda tonight to buy some jumpers :)
