Hi Folks,
....enjoy the best climate in the world, according to the 2007 Quality of Life Index, published by International Living, the monthly travel newsletter and website. The accolade follows last year's discovery by the Journal of Happiness Studies that Malta is the happiest country on the planet!
Just lifted this off the Chevron website. Mind you those of us that know and love Malta knew this already,

it has been bloody cold these past few days ( only 11c today but it feels warmer in the sunshine ) it has been very cold at night but hopefully by the weekend it will be warmer ( just in time for charie girls arrival) lorna

Is there about to be another meeting with girl power to the front
I guess enjoying the best climate does not mean it's going to be hot all the time. A couple of years ago we were driving by Mosta at this time of the year when it went really cold and started to hail so badly that it was several inches deep! The locals said it had snowed but it was hail.
However, the Maltese kids did make 'icemen' from the hail which soon melted and formed 'rivers' along the roads. Not long after the sun came out and it was a lovely afternoon,
