Hi there. I saw a few Maltese contestants at the opening ceremony but have not heard anything about them since. which events did they enter and how are they doing?

"The Maltese contingent ... for the Beijing Olympic Games will consist of 6 athletes from four disciplines namely Athletics, Judo, Shooting and Swimming. The athlete's who have been selected to represent Malta are Charlene Attard and Nicolai Portelli, Athletics; Marcon Bezzina, Judo; William Chetcuti, Shooting; Ryan Gambin and Madeleine Scerri, Swimming." Hi Mark, you would think that Malta / Ghawdex would be up for the gold at shooting considering the amount of poor birds the so called "hunters" manage to murder each year.
