March will be ok for sunbathing.We have been in December & January a few times & been on the beaches till about 6pm.

This will be our third year running going in March and we always come back with a great tan. You have to be careful though - because it is breezy you do not realise you are still getting burnt.

Thanks for the info about getting a tan.Cant wait for March 11th as it will be our 1st time in the Fuerteventur.I have been told there are plenty of happy hours.Anybody know how much a pint of beer is.

Snap, we fly over on the 11th as well. Our favourite eating out places are Nestors the Carribbean restaurant and Delhi Dahbar for an excellent Indian Meal - upstairs next to Legends. I can confidently say you will not eat a better Indian meal than in there, I am sure that is the reason my husband wanted to go back to Caleta. Also upstairs at the other side of Legends is the Slowboat Chinese Restaurant (2 for 1 drinks all night, which is a good saving).
The better beach is the one over the waste ground towards the Atlantico centre where there is a walkway with a small restaurant set out into the sea.
If you get the chance of a day trip South to Jandia go, just to see the beach (how I would imagine the Carribbean to look) plus its usually a few degrees warmer down there. Just so you know, you will come across bare bodies here and there in Jandia on the beach, soon get used to them. We are going to see if Portland are doing any trips there as we did the one a couple of years ago with Tourventura but they stop at the Aloe Vera Farm on the way and we have already seen that.
As you can see I can talk forever about Fuerteventura !!!
