hi, have just come back from la pineda, and was told there is a market there every friday - but never got the chance to go!
la pineda is only a short bus trip from salou - happy hols!!!!

We didn't actually go to a market when we were in Salou but from what other people said the 'big' one on a Sunday is the best one to go to, sorry dead unhelpful as I can't for the life of me remember the name of where it is held but I know that most of the rep's do excursions there so you could have a peek in their books.

Hi - I'm just back from Cap Salou Tues 10 August and the only market I went to was the big Sunday market, just outside Tarragona. We took a taxi with 7 of us and it cost 24 euros. Arrived about 10 am and left again by 2 pm. Lots of stalls with clothes, toys and loads of shoes. Some great bargains. Not many leather stalls. My purpose for going was because my son wanted a football strip and we were told we'd get good value for copies at market. I bought a box set (shirt, shorts and socks) and it was 25 euros. Thought that was cheap, but couple of days later in Salou was able to box for 20 euros and another couple we met got it for 15! So haggle, haggle, haggle! Make sure you take sunblock and head cover as its very hot at the market and make sure you drink plenty and wear comfortable shoes!! Have a great holiday

The salou market is on a monday i think, its pretty easy to find.The friday market is at la pineda and its behind the water park.Tarragona market is on tuesdays and thursdays and is close to the bus station,there is a tourist info booth there.Bonavista is the sunday market and yes you can go with the reps but you can also get the bus there yourself and also to vil-seca.There are a few tourist info places in salou itself and they will be able to tell you which buses to get

I'm off to Salou on the 7/10. Can anyone give me any info on which days there are any markets in Salou or surrounding areas.

Buana Vista on a sunday, but don't go on the organised Reps trip, you can use the local bus for a fraction of the price.
