Our family are going to PDI in November. Could you tell me where are the best markets on the island and ideas for getting there? We have been to GC twice before and have been to the PDI market so we want somewhere new to explore. Thanx
There is a market in Puerto Mogan on Friday mornings. We found the best way to get there was to get a bus or drive to Puerto Rico then get the boat to Puerto Mogan, lovely little boat trip, nice browse around the market which is around the harbour then drink and bite in a nice bar and back over on the boat.

hi would have to agree with sarah, mogan market on a friday is great and as for mogan absolutely beautiful its really stunning.
i think that maspalomas market is worth a visit, it's not as good as Mogan, but it's still pretty good for a bargain.Well, i like it anyway!

I read that there was a market at teror is that any good?
What day is the market in Maspalomas and where abouts is it? Is it near Meloneras?
The biggest market on Gran Canaria is on Tuesdays at Arguinnegan. We stay at the Anfi and meant to pay it a visit this year but never got there! Will make a point of going next year tho'!

How would we get to the market at Arguinnegan any ideas?
The bus service is excellent in Gran Canaria and there is a bus that runs right along the coast, you can get on in Playa del Ingles and get off in Arguinnegan. Your other option is a taxi which are cheap enough.
