I went in October last year, the middle of October. It was just nice, the weather was quite warm in the day but pretty nippy in the evening. the restaurants were quiet, but would recommend this time of year for a late break.

Faye sure there is a topic on here somewhere about weather etc in Oct. I don't think Marmaris winds down till the last week in October.We went first week of October in 2004 and it was raining the day we arrived but from then it was beautifully hot and sunny in the day and warm in the evenings (but cool enough to sleep.) Last year we went the same week and had rain and it was freezing for several of the days . It's a great time to go.Bargains to be had and it seems a lot more relaxed.
