Can someone tell me if it is a long way from Marmaris to Olu Deniz? The reason I ask is that were going to Marmaris in May and I'd really like to go to see the lagoon in Olu Deniz and wondered if it was ok for a day trip??

If it is early season then why not book a room for 1 night.
Get a bus from Marmaris which will take about 3 hours then stay over and come bcak next day.

That's an idea..were going with my boyfriends family and that may be one of their plans!
We took a bus trip to Fethiye and Olu Deniz from Marmaris.
It took about 2 hours with a stop on the way.
I would not recommend the day trip.
I would say the cheapest way to get there would be to get a coach. The coach offices are to the side of tansas supermarket.

so an over night stay would be best then you are not rushing about
lots of pensions in hisaronu and ovacik
Thank you had not seen the other replies.Dont mined the bus we have done Marmaris to Kushadasi which took 6 hours but v/good.
