I understand that but the charter airlines with the exception of Monarch (I think) won't allow 32kg single item weight as it is deemed to heavy for health and safety issues. Given the max weight you usually get is 20kg (Jet2 aside) and to prebook another 10 kg is going to cost in the region of £70 each way short haul it is highly unlikely that anyone is going to get anywhere near that going on a fortnights holiday
So with that in mind I made the comment that it was irrelevant. I think to the normal holidaymaker that it is.
