We should have been travelling to Costa del Sol two weeks today (May 9th) but I have had to cancel.
Owing to medical problems my GP organised an appointment at the hospital and as the Consultant wanted some tests done during the next 2/3 weeks he advised me to cancel our holiday which I have now done.
Its all very disappointing but hopefully we will be able to go away later.

We were booked to go for 2 weeks on 21st May but my wife has been
waiting for a hip replacement for nearly 2 years. She has been given a
date of 9th May for the op so we too have had to cancel.

Know how you must be feeling. We were going to Benidorm on 11th April but I ended up with and abcess on my leg and ended up having operation, so didn't think I'd be going but a week later after great persuasion from everyone I took all my packing and dressings and went as insurance said it was ok and we were only going for long weekend.
We were now looking forward to our main hol to Turkey in 4 weeks, but low and behold my husband has just been rushed into hospital with severe stomach pains and we don't know yet what is wrong so left wondering again will we be going or not

Well I have now got the results and the news isnt good.
I am to have an operation next week to remove part of my bowel. It has all been quite a shock, but has been dealt with quite quickly.
As you can imagine holidays are the last thing on my mind at the moment.

Hello to all
this is my first visit back to HT since my operation.
I am doing well since I got home and eating well and improving daily. Not quite up to
going out for a walk yet but wont be long now.
