Have already posted on here, but just looking for some final advice.

I'm going away for a weekend with my best friend and just need final advice:

We can't decide between Benalmadena and Palma Nova in Majorca.

We want - somewhere lively enough to find a drink and a dance at this time of year (going on 21st Sept). Nice meals (authentic not all chicken and chips). Beach. Nice weather. No hassle.

We don't want - all British bars (although we are happy to do the whole acts/bingo/kareoke etc, we also like proper places with tapas/local food etc.). We would therefore prefer a mix of British and Spanish. But we have heard that that Benalmadena is full of local men at the weekend and we don't want any hassle (if you know what I mean). Bad weather (but have heard Majorca is rainy in sept?)

Hope this all makes sense - we're both in our 30's so we're on the cusp of liking nice meals and a good glass of wine, but also clubbing and going to late bars.

So where would you recommend?
