yes it is really central on the beach front. Only thing is, there are pubs and clubs below you with loud music until, well its meant to be 1am but it never is. Also the bars there might be getting a license until 4am.Also when beachfront closes/quiets down everyone walks that way to bar street. So unless you are a clubber or don't go to bed till well after 1am it might be your type of hotel. I met people who stayed there last year and they could feel the vibrations of the music on their balcony! Depends if loud music/screaming/shouting bothers you or if you want to go to bed before 1am.

ps the people i met who stayed there were the clubbing type and they loved the place but they were always back about 3am - 4am so the noise didnt bother them

The location of the hotel is great as its in the middle of beach front but it going to be noisey. I personally don't stay on beach front for this reason, I tend to stay Thursday Market area in the apartments that area as it is close to everything but on the nights I can't face alcohol I know I can get some sleep

thanks that info is really useful! the hotel sounds good as we are mainly going for the nighlife! just hope that the hotel its self is decent bit worried as ive heard bad things about alot of them! not expecting somewhere really posh just clean will do lol!
