No probs Fiona, if I can find the time between my 3 holidays before I return to Goa in November I'll do it
What lists don't show is the difference between a restaurant where you'd definitely have a wash and a shave (even the wife!) and wear something decent to go to, and those where it doesn't really matter and Goan casual rules apply!
If the wife put on her posh frock to go to Viva Goa, she'd be seriously overdressed but the food, and prices, are great. I have seen people in football shirts in After 7 and they really don't look right! Perhaps next time we categorise them:
A.Dining out
B.Casual eating
C.Cafe style
or something similar....
But thanks again Fiona - Ill print them off and explore!
maybe someone could go through the lists for me and categorise them?
This is great, there are definately a few there we haven't tried yet even after 8 years. Like the idea of categorising them. We are the dressing up types but don't mind dressing down for the odd night in the name of food/eating.
Fiona
doesn't look as if it will be sometime soon It is something I can't do this time though
Hi Fiona - I'm happy to categorise the ones I know well but that won't be all that many! I think we should carry the idea forward for future reviews so that we include the style of operation.
Thanks Fiona , I'll be trying some of them in November
Please note that Holidaytruths.co.uk accepts no responsibility whatsoever, and you enter any of the restaurants at your own risk.
How about preparing a map indicating where they are.Could be helpful??
No swearing allowed in the forum!!!!
This map shows where some of the restaurants are, not sure how up to date it is though.
Thanks Polly50 , I have an older version of the same. Its certainly better.
