We were in Cancun last week. The resort is huge and can cater for anything you fancy doing, not skiing though its tropical. When it rains it really rains but usually only lasts an hour or so, it was in the 90s most days and the humidity is very high. The brochures all give the flight times, ours took 10.5 out and 8.5 back. Isla Mujeres is a good day out, very different to Cancun.

Did'nt see this hotel, its very difficult to pick out hotels when driving. From the reviews it looks fine apart from the food. Until you see Cancun its hard to imagine the scale, I think the hotel strip is about 12 miles long. It has a very American feel to it and its quite smart
