Hi everyone.
I am sorry if this question has been asked before, there are so many topics!!
My wife and I have a wonderful mixed marriage, I am white born in the UK my wife is black and born in Africa and we have three beautiful mixed race teenage girls. One of the girls is now convinced that racism is rife in Florida and that we will have a hard time there (I think it's the hormones). We don't have any problems here in the UKBut that doesn't help my daughter. She really wants to go to Florida and nothing will stop her but can anyone put her mind at rest about this.
Obviously if anyone has come across any problems I would also like to know, I just won't tell my daughterJ. As they say though forwarned is forarmed
Thanks for your time
Regards to all
Shaker
Go...have an excellent time!!!
I've seen an awful lot more mixed race families in Florida than in the UK, of all races as well Black, Hispanic, Asian etc etc. The US is of course a nation built and inhabited by immigrants of all races and in my experience seem a lot more tolerant than other countries. Can't say i've ever seen any overt racism at all.
Thanks for the replies. i'm sure we shall have a great time. My daughter will be very happy when she reads the posts.
