Thomson still won't let us book extras tho... thanks again.
I am flyng Premium Economy from Gatwick to Sanford, Orlando. As I understand it my baggage allowance is 30 kg hold allowance and 5kg hand baggage. Can the 30 kg hold allowance be split between 2 bags? Is there a maximum weight allowed per bag?
I am flying next month on the A300, where are the extra legroom seats located on this aircraft? Also have I read what partboy_uk said before right - that rows 9 & 31 have extra room but are not charged as extra legroom becuase they are cold?
Thanks for that. Sorry for sounding dumb but am I right in saying that rows 9/31 are not charged as extra legroom becuase they have a draft, or am I getting the wrong end of the stick?
The extra legroom seats on the A300 are now located on rows 1-7 A-J. The listing Dazbo gave was true until recently. At the beginning of summer this year, a row of seats was taken out of all the A300 aircraft. When viewing the online seat map you will notice that row 8 is displayed as "not available," this being the row that was removed. Rows 9 and 31 still have more legroom, even though this is not evident from the seat map, and you will not be charged for extra legroom seats if you decide to sit here. I am told the reason why these seats are no longer sold as extra legroom is because of the cool temperature in this area. If this is not such a problem for you then you may want to consider booking the seats in one of these areas.
It is worth noting however that seats 9 A and J do not offer any extra legroom due to the door bustle which protrudes the area in font of these seats; seats 31 A and J are crew seats and are also unavailable to book online. If you do decide to book the seats at row 31 B,C or G,H then for the most part of the flight you will have nobody sat in the seat next to you as crew only sit there for take off and landing. Also worthy of note is that armrests at rows 1, 2, 9 and 31 do not lift up but are fixed in place, with tray tables located inside.
I hope this helps. If you would like to know anything else then please feel free to ask
Hi Partyboy_uk thanks for the information and also thank you to Dazbo!

Blodders,
The maximum weight allowance for any one bag is 32kg. I believe it to be the case that your allowance is for 1 bag only but I would advise you to contact your tour opertaor for confirmation. You can also find more information relating to baggage information for your flight here on the Monarch website.
There is more information on booking seats here on the Monarch website. I would think though that your best option is to call Monarch and have the details it mentions on the website to hand. I am unsure if it is possible to request particular seats on a charter flight but if it is then you can ask for one of the above seats. "Pre-booking" seats generally means that you are guraranteed to sit together whilst "pre-allocated" seats would normally mean you are given specific seat numbers. Give them a call and see what can be done. Good luck
Hey guys, I just wanted to say thanks for all your help when I flew to Cuba, you were brilliant. I'm now going to Lanzerote on the 30th June 2011 from Birmingham, Flight no ZB458. I was just wondering if you could give me all the details like the plane and just like what the seats are like and if there is any TV that type of stuff.
BHX-ACE-BHX (ZB458/9) are operated by an Airbus A321-200. You'll fnd extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seats are the same as the other charter airlines. IFE details were posted by partyboy_uk here. There's a bit more information about IFE and your flight on Monarch's In-Flight Magazine (page 124 onwards).

The Monarch flight 1828 Manchester-Corfu seems to be delayed every Monday, not just a small delay, this week it's 7 hours same as last week!! Where does the plane come from before making the Manc/Corfu run??
When a flight is delayed it is not necessarily due to a delay on the flight it is due to operate beforehand.
I can see that the MAN/CFU MON1829 has not long left MAN on a/c G-MAJS. This aircraft positioned from LGW/MAN beforehand and prior to this operated the LGW/CFU/LGW MON7908/9, returning back to LGW at 15:45 as scheduled.
I can only imagine that this aircraft is being used as a substitute for another A300/A330. This reason for this is unknown although I imagine it is most likely due to a technical problem. Technical issues can be common during the summer season as airlines use aircraft throughout the day with little downtime.
Hi, Im travelling on ZB896 (LTN-TFS departing at 15.25) on the 6th of July and was wondering whether anyone could tell me which route this plane serves beforehand.
nickappel,
I am going to make my seating requests next week. I am flying from Gatwick to Sanford in Sept. Am I correct in thinking that seats 2H&J are the front 2 seats in PE, cos these seem to be the best ones leg room wise? Or do you know different?
Seating is personal preference. Row 2 A/B are the first row on the port side in premium so have a little more room than the other seats. However, they have a bulkhead in front of them so those with long legs may find they can't stech them out too far.

Just wondering if you could tell me the aircraft type i am flying out on from Manchester to Antalya (LTAI on the 9th july the flight number is ZB520/521 back on the 24th july and what type of inflight entertainment is there on flights of this time (specified a 4h40) is it classed as a short or long haul flight with monarch ? oh and also what route it be operating before it lands at MAN so i can track the flight
Thanks in advance and it is much appreciated
MAN-AYT-MAN (ZB520/1) are operated by an Airbus A320-200 / Boeing 757-200 respectively. Turkey is a short (mid) haul destination, not a long haul. You'll find extensive aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).
