Monkey Zoo Park

Is that the actual name of the park - Monkey Zoo Park?

Where about off of TF1 is it exactly(or roughly), since we visit Tenerife quite a bit and usually stay in Los Gigantes, so would probably be making our own way there if we were to visit, and it's nice to go to somewhere other than the usual well advertised attractions
Thx

I went past this a couple of times on a coach, It looked really run down so I just assumed it was closed. I'm actually upset it's open...poor animals having to live in such a tiny unappealing place :(

allie i think its a little unreasonable to say that when you have driven past the entrance on a coach!!!

Yes Allie, I take my little girl there and she loves it. All the monkeys have ample spece to swing about in. Also in the areas that they jump on you these are quite large, they also have plenty of food lying around so aren't being starved.

Lovely place for the kids and animals are well looked after. Better still if you are lucky enough to live here you get a residents reduction on the entrance fee when you produce your Padron

Been reading reviews on this place on trip advisor and it sounds fab and the photos look brill as well.
Been to Tenerife 12 times and never knew it existed. Anybody off here been and can let me know what they thought?

My two kids 16 and 17 took their mates there this summer when they came over for a visit. They thought it was brilliant. If you go take some food for the monkeys and they will eat out of your hand. They do sell food there but I think they get fed up with having the same thing all the time so if you take something different they will be sure to come to you. Grapes worked really well. At the age of my kids it took them a couple of hours to walk round but if you have younger ones them I am sure you could stretch it into at least half a day. Can't remember the exact price because we get residents discount but it is not that expensive.

We'll be staying at the Caledonia (near the Aquapark) next Easter - are there any free buses to the monkey park? How much would a taxi cost?

No free bus. Can't remember exact taxi price, cost more getting there but altogether less than 20 euros return from Garden City. The park will ring a taxi for you when you're ready to leave. It really is a worth while visit. Don't forget to take along some bananas & grapes and your camera.
