Bomb kills 35 at Russia's busiest airport
All flights have been suspended out of Russia's busiest airport following a suspected suicide bomber exploded a device which killed 35 people.
In what is believed to be a terrorist attack, Moscow's Domodedovo airport has been thrown into chaos after the blast went off just after 4.30pm local time in the baggage reclaim area of the arrivals hall.
A further 130 have been injured by the bomb.
One flight had just landed at the airport from the UK, BMI flight BD891, whilst a British Airways flight had landed one hour before the blast.
BMI says all crew have been accounted for and it is waiting to hear of news of its passengers.
According to Reuters, Russia's chief investigator said the attack was the work of terrorists.
Security has been increased across Moscow with all airports and transport hubs on high alert.
Briton Mark Green told the BBC: "We were walking out through the exit of the arrivals hall towards the car, and there was this almighty explosion, a huge bang... my colleague and I looked at each other and said 'Christ that sounds like a car bomb or something,' because the noise, literally, shook you."
Flights travelling into Domodedovo will be diverted to Moscow's Sheremetevo airport.
