When we went to Mexico this year, we took Jungle formula and autan, i didnt personally like it because if you put too much on (as i did) you get black arms and it didnt seem to dry very quick.

On the other hand, i bought still with deet wilkos spray, its really cheap around £2, it stinks when you spray it on, but when dry in a minute you cannot smell it. Never got bitten and you can still wear your favourite scent going out.

I still like "off" which i buy from egypt, but wilkos own brand was brilliant.

can any one give me any advise pls. been told by doc in hospital I cnt have anitbotics any more as im allergic to most of them in fact I have to carry a epie pen now , my problem is im goin to tunsisa in may and I get bit very badly from mossies ( they just love me )? and as I usually take the antibiotic 2 weeks before I go plus the time im there , im wondering if there is any thing else I could have ?, goin to see my doc in morning so will be asking same question thanks in advance

got it sorted , consulant from hospital give me a new antibiotic . only problem now is getting on the plane with my epi-pen, tho I will get a letter from doc confiming my medication.

I got 3 Jungle Formula Maximum roll on - 50ml from superdrug last week for my 6 weeks in philippines. Cost me around £21, well worth it after I got bitten to death in Seychelles a few years back.
Was in Superdrug yesterday and couldn't believe it that they had a promotion on buy 2 get 3rd free! I was going to buy one more so ended up buying three more! It better bloody work! or I have wasted around £35

I've never had much of a problem with mozzies in Tunisia but never travel without Anthisan cream in case I do get the odd bite.

Just be careful with products like Jungle Formula as they contain deet.In certain concentrations deet can seemingly melt plastic! I managed to spray Jungle Formula on my watch (Identity) a couple of years back and it stripped all the colour off the bezel.

yep my friend i travelled to Dominican Republic with last year used deet and it melted her flip flops, she ended up with black stripes on her feet were her flip flops touched her skin.we used the strongest jungle formula!
i took aerosol deet and lotion, i nearly choked on the fumes off the aerosol, lotion was better in my opinion.
just got back from jamaica and took roll on, i found the bits i missed when applying it i got bitten, the little blighters homed in on me lol
for me i find the lotion the best
