So there are 2 hotels then. Both reviews and internet pictures I see seem to suggest that they are the same hotel. I am still confused.

the nautilus used to be part of the green oasis group. now another hotel group has bought the nautilus so it is not part of that group.

obviously some reviews you have seen will be written from the time it was green oasis.

hint its green oasis period was its downmarket period. prior to that it really was a quite exclusive hotel and rather sophisticated - in fact, too sophisticted for the area.

whilst the man ferre (who has bought the hotel) is quite unscrupulous when it comes to renovating them certainly seems to turn them round as can be witnessed at the san remo and s'estanyol just down the road.

does that make sense now?

Yes that all fits in now. I read a report that it is being renovated at present, can you confirm this

Oooooh, this is interesting
We've booked to stay at the Nautilus during May 1/2 term. We have stayed here twice before. This time, we were tempted to try the San Remo, but couldn't find out much about it.
Now you say the Nautilus is part of the same chain. Is the Nautilus currently undergoing renovation work and if so, a)is it likely to be finished for May and b) do you know what kind of work is being undertaken, eg bedrooms?

Hotel is opening on the 27th of April. Can not confirm yet about renovations.

It was on one of the review sites, but which one I can not remember. Shall search around and find out soon.

Can anyone confirm if this Hotel is under going renovations this Winter.
The hotel chain has informed me that it shall be open from April 27th.

I can now confirm that there has been no renovations carried out at the Nautilus Hotel to date. So the hotel shall be as it was last season.
