That's great news, thanks for the update, but I still have a couple of questions.

Have you cancelled the holiday in writing by recorded delivery?

Did your uncle declare his pre-existing condition to the insurance? If not, you may have a problem getting your deposits back.

Yeah the holiday has been cancelled and sent recorded delivery. I have been trying to sort out with my aunt the insurance side of things. She says they did declare all to the insurance as I had warnend them never to withhold any info from them so, when we find the papers (some where in her house) I will be able to check it and all being well get onto them. Once again thankyou allits nice to know people will help if they can.

Having found their paper work from the insurance company it seems he told them he suffers from depression he has not said manic depression/bi-polar and he has now been diagnosed with schizophrenia so I really don`t hold out much hope of getting the deposits back but, at least they got the other money from thomas cook
