I've just read on the maltese forum that someone thinks the new smilies are a tad 'chavy'.
It's really tickled me. I hadn't though about it before.

And of course no-one HAS to use them.
And if you don't like the look of them, you have the option through the User Contol Panel to disable them being displayed

I don't like them, I also think they are too big and I wanted to put 4 smilies in a lengthy post today because the post needed to "come over" as being lighthearted....I always get told off for not using the correct smiley 
I thought the other "PMSL smiley" was quite adequate and fine, but then having said all that, I'm not one to use smilies very often....I doubt I'll be using these new ones except the PMSL one because the PMSL we had has gone.
Just my opinion.
