I believe it caters more for the younger crowd now. We stayed there in 2005 and 2006 and it attracted a mixed clientele but I believe its mainly younger groups staying there now. They're in a great location and the apartments themselves are decent enough.

can you tell me the name of this hotel? we have stayed at the palm beach and the salamis bay hotel. last year they were apparently refurbishing the palm beach, or is this an entirely new hotel?

now totally confused :que the only famagusta I know is in the north of cyprus where we stayed. so if its in Ayia Napa its in the south, correct?

yes Famagusta [proper name Ammachoustos in Greek] is north of Protaras when the problems of the 1960's happened many of the Greeks moved south of the partition line and started up the booming holiday holiday resorts of the south, the once fishing village of Agia Nappa is the southern most village in the Ammachoustos [Famagusta ] district, It is a Grade B self catering apart-hotel with quite a loyal following on the road to Nissi beach,a short walk from the village centre,

Famagusta District as opposed to Famagusta town. It is both north and south of the green line.
