I am trying to book a hotel in Marmaris for next October (I've got my flights too !). I've been told that prices for next year are not normally available till after this season's end ie late Sept / early Oct - so possibly booking an appartment is the same ?

Flights for next year are available and also apartments and hotels.

I have been selling accommodation for 2006 since late 2004.

Hi just booked my accommodation for October half term 2006 today. Hurrah !

So would have thought June would also be out now.

For any one booking hotels rather than appartments we got a great deal from Findmeaccommodation.com (part of Broadway Travel but cheaper) who usually act as agents for Medhotels- but much cheaper than the Medhotels website - work that one out !

Try Mehtap Hotel in Marmaris at http://www.marmarisholiday.com or http://www.sunnseaholiday.com its open from April 1st to November 28th and Ihsan the manager was telling me last week that theyve done the prices for next year so worth a shot.

These apartments are fantastic and are a great location right on the beach and the guys are the best!!

Only had a reply from one, apartment Irmak, who said they would not accept bookings before Feb/March next year. no other apartment has replied. Go to Tenerife next week so will probably leave it until I come back and try ringing or faxing then. Thanks everyone for all you advice

In the past i have found that most of the turks dont seem to know where the reply button is on emails

You will probably find that you will get a better response if you telephone them. However be mindful that most places tend to close between Novemeber - April so if you are going direct to the hotels even less chance of a response in that period

But wouldnt worry, you aint going in peak times, so should have no probs in getting accom
