Can't comment on Corralejo but in caleta there are no night clubs to speak of. however there are a number of bars open til the small hours, my favourite being the rock cafe in castillo plaza, theres also a couple in the next centre down form that and also peirro's in the white centre in caleta.

There used to be a few bars in the happy centre near the castillo suites but it is a while since i left fuerte and that was never the area of resort i went around in ( i lived close to pierros).

Caleta is only a short taxi/bus ride from the capital of the island and i had a few enjoyable nights up there. It is mainly the locals who go upto the capital but ask around and i'm sure the hotel/bar staff in resort would tell you the best places to go

Hey

Ive been directed to resort reports and all sorts where my questions then go unoticed, but still not found the answer to my question.

thinking of going to fuerteventura in july, does the island have any kind of nightlife for young couples? (23/24) music bars, any nightclubs at all or is the resort dead after midnight??

is there like a main road where most of the bars are located or are they all scattered around the resort?

please someone help im waiting to book my holiday, or not...

thank you

Hi

I can only tell you about Corralejo.
Most of the bars/restaurants are situated along the main street. It's a few years since I was there but I remember there being sufficient nightlife for us....we aren't party animals though!

There's plenty of bars in Corralejo, whether it's entertainment/karaoke/live bands etc... It's no Ibiza but some of the bars do stay open until 2 or 3 and there are a couple of discotype places that the barstaff in any bar will direct you to. Most of the bars and restaurants are all on the main street or in commercial centres just off of it. I lived there for a few years and there was enough to keep me going and i'm a hard drinking scots lass  It's got more commercialised since i left (2002), so hope you feel it's worth a visit.

This concerned us too as we are looking to travel to Fuerteventura soon and are concerned that at this time of year there will be an older crowd, I have seen reference to Saga-louts !!!! Is this the case or are there better places on the island for a young couple who want a relaxing week to visit. We would both prefer to mix with people our own age on the beaches (especially if they are lacking clothing).

well id keep away next week if i was you ars there will be 15 of us ranging in age from 26 to 70 and we wouldnt want to upset anybody with our lack of clothes.

Indeed. People over 50 with serious wrinkle issues should be banned from de-clothing.

There are loads of places to go especially to eat - recommend a very nice restaurant - Los Pepes - you will have to book - but well worth it. There are loads of chinese, indians, italians, greek, mexican, steakhouses etc etc and plenty of wine bars/pubs to visit after. Me and hubby went at Christmas and weren't sure what to expect but we had a brilliant time as we love to go out for dinner then have a drink or two after. We also stayed at the Brisol Playa. Lovely walk home after a night out - especially walking on the sea front, it takes you straight back to the hotel.

Hi,
Just off the main street in Correlejo, there is the Atlantico Centre. In there are at least 2 night clubs, Mafasca and BCH. BCH is more salsa and Mafasca is everything. There is also the Waikiki which is almost on the beach, go towards the sea at the Poco Loco restaurant and you will find it. It is open until 5-6am most nights. I think you will find plenty of nightlife.
