HI,all first time on this forum .I am going to puerto del carmen for a week at the start of december with my mate ,and i was wondering what the nightlife then would be like or how busy the resort would be at that time of year .Would appreciate any comments to fill me in cheers

My g/f and I were in Puerto Del Carmen in mid December2005. Nightlife was pretty quiet, all the larger clubs were open but pretty empty, like maybe 10-50 people in them. Most bars were a bit more lively, but again I wouldn't class them as busy. Usually you could get a seat no matter what time you went. The busy places seemed to be the Irish places when they had a band on, but we didn't go into any of them.
Don't be too put off, even when we were in a nightclub with around 8 people in it at 2am, we found around a dozen new friends, if you include the bar staff. Everyone was very chatty and friendly.
