When I visited Sydney it seemed that the pub( and there are loads of them)scene was extremely popular, some were extremely lively. I can't recommend any as my evenings were spent having nice meals. I expect there are clubs. Maybe Chubby will give you some tips.

The crown casino entertanment compelex it has theatres and restaurants along the Yarra river edge may be a cruise along it
The Victorian arts centre near there has live theatre shows
The Regent and The Princess theatres have big name live shows on most of the time
North of the city square is Lygon street a restaurants all along it all types
The Colonal tram restaurant it takes you around the city as you eat
A must do is the Great Ocean Road tour 1 or 2 days

Sydney
Darling Harbour area for restaurants and casino
The Rocks area has restaunants there also
The Centre Point Tower gives good veiws of the city
Opra house tours and harbour cruises and a evening dinner cruise gives good veiws of the city lights
Day tours of the Blue Mountains and a Hunter Valley wine tour these are some of the things you can do i will give you a web site that is good
